Jay Ziskrout is an international operations and business development executive with a proven record commercializing early-stage technology platforms, negotiating licensing and distribution agreements, and driving revenue growth across media, technology, and content verticals.
He has led market entry and commercial initiatives across North America, Europe, and Latin America — including establishing and running the European headquarters for Epitaph Records in Amsterdam, where he negotiated licensing and distribution agreements across Europe, Latin America, and Asia. At Arista Records / BMG, he directed national promotion achieving #1 chart breakthroughs for artists including Aretha Franklin, Annie Lennox, and Sarah McLachlan, while expanding the label's reach into U.S. Latin and Italian-language markets.
Current Sonic Vista engagements include providing COO services to Quantiva — a business-first technology consulting firm specializing in big data, AI, and digital platform development, serving clients including Getty Images, Meta, Nvidia, Siemens, the United Nations, and Warner Brothers — and to Instant Action, a video-first mobile marketing platform serving media organizations, agencies, and political campaigns.
He brings deep expertise in audience engagement, data platforms, and international operations, with a track record of building and scaling businesses at the intersection of technology and content. As a founding member of Bad Religion, he also brings a firsthand artist perspective to every commercial and creative partnership.
Jay has studied communications, advertising, and business administration at California State University, New York University, and Capella University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
